Enter a brief professional profile of the reviewer (maximum 2,000 characters).

The biography may include:

  • Academic qualifications

  • Professional experience

  • Research interests

  • Institutional affiliations

  • Major publications or achievements

A well-written biography helps editors better understand the reviewer's background and qualifications

Subject​

Select or enter the reviewer's primary subject area.

This helps categorize reviewers according to their discipline.

Area of Expertise​

Enter the reviewer's areas of expertise as keywords separated by commas (,) or semicolons (;).

Example:​

Recommendation: Keep the Area of Expertise updated, as it is one of the primary criteria used when filtering and selecting reviewers for manuscript assignments.

Tags​

If applicable, enable Do you want to add your Affiliations? and enter the reviewer's institutional information.

Reviewer Selection Using Expertise​

The Area of Expertise, Subject, and Tags play an important role during reviewer assignment.

When assigning reviewers to a manuscript, editors can use the Filter option to search reviewers based on Area of Expertise

This enables editors to quickly identify reviewers with the most relevant expertise, improving the accuracy and efficiency of the peer review process.
