Register as an Author, Reviewer, or Editorial User
Kryoni JMS supports three primary user roles, each designed to meet the specific needs of the scholarly publishing workflow. Depending on your role, you can register or access the platform using the appropriate registration process.

Author Registration
Authors can access the submission portal directly from the journal website by clicking Submit Manuscript or Submit Your Article.
If the author is a new user, they can create a new account by clicking Sign Up and registering using one of the available authentication methods. Once registered, authors can submit manuscripts, monitor submission progress, upload revised files, and communicate with the editorial office.
Reviewer Registration
Reviewers cannot self-register as reviewers.
A reviewer account is created when a Journal Manager, Editor-in-Chief, or Editorial Administrator sends an invitation to join the journal as a reviewer.
The reviewer receives an invitation email containing:
- The journal name
- Reviewer invitation details
- A secure login link
After opening the login link, the reviewer can sign in using any of the supported authentication methods:
- OTP
- Password
- ORCID
Once logged in, the reviewer can complete their profile, accept or decline review invitations, access assigned manuscripts, and submit reviewer recommendations.
A user can serve as a reviewer for multiple journals if invited by different publishing organizations.
Editorial User Registration
Editorial Users, such as Editors, Section Editors, Managing Editors, Editorial Assistants, and Production Editors, are also invited by the Journal Manager or Publisher.
The invitation email contains:
- Journal information
- Assigned editorial role
- Secure login URL
After opening the login link, the Editorial User can authenticate using:
- OTP
- Password
- ORCID
Once authenticated, the assigned editorial role is automatically activated, and the user is granted access to the journal's editorial dashboard.
Editorial Users can then:
- Screen manuscript submissions
- Assign reviewers
- Monitor peer review progress
- Communicate with authors and reviewers
- Make editorial decisions (based on permissions)
- Manage publishing workflows
